| Wing Blade Paddles & Paddle Carrier Covers Don't be caught "up the creek without a paddle"
When buying a paddle the best advice I can give you is to avoid the cheap and nasty flat blade plastic variety. These paddles are fine for gently shifting you around calm lakes and tropical beaches but are not really up to the task of taking on crunching surf and strong ocean currents and winds. A more efficient wing blade in either fiberglass or better still, carbon will make your task a whole lot easier. You also have an option of a solid shaft or split shat type paddle. A good paddler will be able to assist you with some stroke correction, and this combined with your new paddle will contribute to a better fishing experience.
